Monday, January 29, 2018 - An entry level chardonnay that was initially dominated by oak, the wine eventually mellowed out on day 2 to provide a more balanced profile of butter, citrus, cream and mango aromas. The palate was simple and pretty much one dimensional delivering flavors of green apple, almond, vanilla and just a hint of apricot. Mouthfeel was light, the texture was oaky and the finish short. Decent quality at a price point below $15.
