Tuesday, April 4, 2017 - Open, poured and drank immediately. Lively, youthful and quite aromatic, perfumed oak with violet and herbaceous undertones. Very rich, oak is just a little over prevalent at the moment, however am confident this is not an issue and will burn off over time. Finishes with a nice stereotypical rich, juicy merlot mid palate, slightly chewy and with a reasonable slightly bitter length. Quite a delicious merlot actually and whilst I am enjoying this young I might keep a couple back say 2024/2025.
