Sunday, April 21, 2024 - Popped and poured from 375ml. This is a dark wine with a medium-red core, everything-staining concentration, and some heavy sediment at the end of the bottle. The nose is grapey, with cooked fruit and some burnt wood aspects. In the mouth, this is rich, loaded, and slightly grainy from the sediment. The finish is likewise rich and deep, with chocolate and fig aspects. Overall, this is a big hitter of a wine that should last forever. I don’t drink enough Vintage Port. 90 points.
