Community Tasting Note

Barolo Freak Does not like this wine:

Wednesday, August 30, 2023 - My first time tasting an Enzo Boglietti Barolo, and probably my last. I decanted and I strained. No sediment in this bottle. I could tell while I was pouring that I would not like this wine. The 2013 Enzo Boglietti is a tannin bomb that needs many years of cellaring. There is tiny layer of fruit under the tannin, but not enough to justify waiting many years for it to emerge. Is it worth $79 a bottle? No Signore!
