Lush layers of dark, ripe plums, chocolate, licorice, smoke and espresso are impossible to miss. The tannins are polished, the fruit is very ripe and there is a note of spice in the sweet finish that adds an enjoyable edge to this wine. It was produced from 94% Merlot and 6% Cabernet Franc, reaching 13.8% alcohol.
