92 Points

Saturday, April 29, 2017 - A nose full of vanilla and an opulently textured, fresh bowl of cherries, the wine is already open. Lush layers of dark, ripe plums, chocolate, licorice, smoke and espresso are impossible to miss. The tannins are polished, the fruit is very ripe and there is a note of spice in the sweet finish that adds an enjoyable edge to this wine. It was produced from 94% Merlot and 6% Cabernet Franc, reaching 13.8% alcohol.
