Thursday, May 24, 2018 - We tried this side by side with the un-oaked 2017 ( Papies 89) and it was interesting to compare as this is just a touch softer and creamier and at this younger stage more welcoming. Don't expect a heavily oaked wine here and it was actually very nice to see that as are not really lovers of oaked assyrtiko that complementary use of oak. Interestingly we preferred the oaked version marginally more at this younger stage. Sacrilege! 90
