Sunday, July 12, 2020 - Coravin. Light ruby with slight bricking; medium intensity aromatics with some elegant red fruit; palate is light bodied, light integrated tannin, low-medium 13% alcohol, medium-plus acidity, red fruit, not much depth beyond the fruit; finish has medium length. Balanced well enough, but lacks site-specific character (nothing at all says Volnay... I would have guessed basic bourgogne rouge) or depth. I bought this at discount, but there are still better wines out there for $30. 86-87
