Thursday, October 8, 2015 - I quite enjoyed this bottle. The nez leaped out of the glass with deep berry, ash, a hint of evergreen Christmas. One of those rare wines enjoyable just by smelling in the glass. Flavors are nicely integrated with what feels like a perfectly balance fruit, acid and tannin. Purple grape, violet, blackstrap and black pepper in the finish. Perhaps could finish longer but that's looking for a nit. In my mind this is at peak.
