Wednesday, April 26, 2023 - Initially tannic and fresh this had herby flavours of plums, liquorice with a small dollop of tar. It opens out beautifully, to develop a silky texture and flavours of prune. Savoury in character, it effortlessly demonstrates complexity and ultimately ends on an exquisite finish. In spite of the power there is always a delicacy which to my mind makes a great wine. CHP 93 pts
