Wednesday, August 9, 2023 - Opened another bottle of this tonight and wanted to provide a quick update to my TN from December 2019.

With about an hour of air the wine is still gorgeous with lovely punchy fruit, a velvety feel and a fine long finish. However, tonight the magnificent aromatics were a bit more subdued suggesting that while this has not shut down entirely- it has shut down sufficiently to give me pause about opening another for 5-8 years, especially given the current replacement value.

Still a beauty with a great future ahead- but I would suggest holding off at present as the honeymoon phase has ended.
