Friday, March 27, 2020 - Purchased about 2 years ago at the cantina, this is still quite youthful. Some bright soil tones really help to highlight the fruit. It's got many similarities to the 2009 (which I'm still drinking) in that it's got plenty of structure, is fun when young, but also has the goods to go the distance, too. Medium/med+ body, slightly more black fruit than red, with juicy, sweet, and very fine tannins. A pleasure all the way around, and well worth the modest price. I went ahead and grabbed a few magnums in addition to a 6-pack, and look forward to drinking these over the coming 5-8 years; probably my fourth time drinking this since its release. Especially glad to have had this on hand during my quarantine lock down in Greve. Easily recommended+
