I opened the bottle 5 hours in advance of dinner, poured though a vinturio and drank it slowly throughout the evening. The nose was beautiful and gave me high hopes for a great bottle of wine. The palate was a different story. Yes there were flavors of berries and plums and oak but it was tannic as was the finish which was moderate in length. I have more so I am hoping that this was just an off bottle.
