Saturday, September 17, 2022 - Just a hint of orange around the rim, but this still looks rather youthful. Beguiling nose of maraschino cherry, dark chocolate and herby, smoky game meat. Lovely palate, sweet berries and dark cherry on the attack woven in with savoury elements and an almost grapefruit acidity. Very long finish of spice, smoke - the gamey herby kind again, tar and quince jam. Beautifully structured and elegant expression of CR drunk at peak.
