Saturday, June 4, 2022 - Darker garnet. Nose of pine forest, char, peppery spice, earthy floral notes. Layers of blackberry, black pepper, tarry iodine on the palate. Moderate acidity and firm but smoothed tannin. Longer finish of chiming plum fruit and crushed rock. Nicely done.
