Friday, July 17, 2015 - last bottle of this from a purchase from a different time of buying wine for me. This opened a bit tarry and heavy handed - like a one noted aglianico. The wine is a very dark purple and there are some roasted extracted elements lurking, but in the end and with ample air this was serviceable and fine. I would drink these up and with a 30 minute decant enjoy it. Right now, after a day in fridge and last glass, it has a bit of coffee, espresso roasted grape but with a touch of acidity to keep it in check. Fine, but ultimately not a re buy.
