Tuesday, March 15, 2005 - Broglia is a family run 73 hectare farm of which 35 hectares are planted to Cortese vines. Cortese is the native grape of the region which is used to make Gavi. The estate was founded in 1972. The estate was renovated and new cellars werte built in 1982. The estate claims that this wine is the most representative and classic wine they produce and therefore gave it the name of the farm itself "La Meirana". This wine is aged in stainless steel. The wine was aromatic with floral and vanilla scents. Medium to light bodied with notes of oriental spices, almonds and apple. 88-89 points.
