Sunday, April 21, 2024 - An Expansive Tasting at Hugel (Riquewihr, France): 148 grams. Deep yellow/light gold. Honey and even a bit of chocolate on the nose. Fantastic, explosive bright peach in the mouth. Less soil, but excellent acidity and verve that make it taste far less sweet for this level of residual sugar. Great length. Not a decadent dessert wine. I loved this and its structure should make it pretty much immortal.
