Friday, August 23, 2019 - Split decision - I liked it, spouse was meh. I found the Viura grape and how they vinified it to be a good pairing with shrimp etoufee. Was enough acidity to stand up to the spices and other tastes. Not as austere as a Sauv Blanc, not as sweet as some Rieslings, we decided it was somewhere in between the two in taste and acidity. Fruit was neither forward, nor restrained, no sweetness, but it was OK for me. Drink now. I would buy again, but it takes two.
