Monday, May 22, 2017 - While I have had mixed experiences with older Ridge zins, even with a dried out cork that broke in half mid pull, this one was terrific with sausage and pepper pizza. If served blind I might well have guessed amarone. Rich, pruny, chocolatey. A little bit gritty. My wife and I only finished half of it with dinner, and brought the rest of it over to the couch for "House of Cards". Normally I would have recorked before turning in, but this was gone before the end of a single episode.
