Friday, December 25, 2020 - Decanted but started to drink immediately. To the nose, forest, dark and red fruit, and slight oak/leather. On the palate, a mix of dark and red fruit (blackberry, red cherry and boysenberry, with black cherry joining on the second glass. Pepper and cinnamon for spices with a clear cola note. Medium mouthfeel and length for RRV PN. Tannins in thin laces barely providing structure. A balanced PN - not too much fruit forward. Paired well with Christmas ham and scalloped potatoes. Drink now.
