Wednesday, March 19, 2008 - Nose was mostly black fruit and spice. Palate was very fruit forward with black cherry, black raspberry, and boysenberry on the front and a complex smokiness and spice component on the end. Beautiful mouth feel and a finish that did not stop. Great bottle that went perfectly with the elk in a pepper/mushroom sauce that I was having.
