Wednesday, April 8, 2020 - (opened 2 days ago...last glass!) - color: dark scarlet; nose: light oak; taste: medium-bodied mouth feel, tastes of rounded red fruit, herbs, and a little tobacco, medium-length slightly chalky finish, some acidity, moderate tannins; overall: masculine Old World profile, probably at its best with food (beef, lamb, or roast chicken), drinking well as of April 2020, decent QPR ($13.75/bottle via Garagiste)
