Thursday, November 26, 2020 - The nose here is so potent - massive even - with loads of ripe damson, blackberry, charcoal, and black truffle. It’s impossible not to be impressed by the depth here but, despite the density of the fruit, the palate is so spirity and warm it’s difficult to enjoy drinking it. I followed this for over 24 hours both with and without food; I get the critical acclaim - I just don’t echo it.
