Sunday, May 21, 2023 - Based on ACHAVE's2022 note I opened my one bottle of the same. He got this wine as well as he did the 2009 Patrick Jasmin Côte-Rôtie. It has "Lush style; plenty of vanilla and soft flavors." The quality is indeed good but in the intended style which is also not my preference. I have been paying attention to the aromas coming from an empty wine glass and on this one it is revealing there was no aroma. It is all fruit and oak flavor without bouquet. Well made in its intended style.

    5/22/2023 11:33:00 AM - Absolutely agree that this is their “intended style” since I have had enough wines from Latour to recognize it. Good to recognize its quality (though not my stylistic preference).
