Tuesday, April 18, 2023 - Takes a very long time to open up, and once open the drinking window is fleeting.

When primed, nose of chocolate, dark cherries, currant, baking spice. Quite nice.

A little more one dimensional on taste, grippy tannins even after a long time to breathe, dark red fruit, bit of a candied aftertaste, medium- in length, perhaps a vegetal note on the way out.

Pretty pleasing drinker at the $25 mark. Should hold on quite a while longer.
