Monday, June 19, 2023 - I was pretty skeptical buying $35 Pomerol, and now I wish I'd grabbed more. This hints at being great wine, although I found myself wishing it were just a little more refined. Good mix of earth (forest floor, black tea, maybe a little cedar) and dark fruit (cherry, cassis). Moderate body and acidity. Drinkable now, will try my next in a few years.
