Sunday, December 17, 2023 - Together with Ch.Chasse Spleen the best known estate from the Moulis appellation in the Middle-Médoc. A deep Bordeaux-red color with still a purple hue. Smell and taste are dominated by the Cabernet Sauvignon (60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Merlot and 5% Petit Verdot) with blackberry and cassis aromas and still a tiny bit of new oak, ripe tannins, adequate acidity and a medium long finish. This is a nice classic left bank Bordeaux which (to my taste) is already enjoyable now but will probably improve with some years of cellaring. Certainly a good QPR at 30€ (in 2019).
