Likes this wine:

Saturday, February 16, 2019 - First bottle of Perrieres and it was quite delicious; the nose is lovely and seems quite classic to me; ripe peach, pear, apricot, a hint of baked apple, acacia and jasmine, toasted hazelnut, hints of wet stone with just a whiff of wood spice. The palate is fresh and vibrant, more so than expected for a 2015, certainly very good depth and the wine fans out over your palate, but doesn't feel fat or heavy at all; the finish lasts 30-40 seconds easily. Fabulous with king crab legs, certainly upside for a few years at least

2/17/2019 8:01:00 PM - John - I have not tried the 2016 of this wine (though I have it on my radar to buy), but my experience with the 2016 white Burgundies thus far is that they are overall better than the '15s. This wine I thought was excellent given the ripeness of the 2015 vintage as it did not seem heavy at all, but the few 2016's I've tried have great freshness while retaining great concentration and energy. I don't think you can go wrong either way!

2/19/2019 12:30:00 PM - Thanks for the addition information. I thin I will pick up a few '16 and see how they turn out. Thanks again!
