Friday, December 29, 2006 - Dark, concentrated colour. Intense nose with great complexity. Some feshness (herbs) with dark concentrated fruits. On the palate very fresh at the beginning, some nice acidity. This is followed by some outstanding smoothness and lovely balance in the mid-palate. Towards the finale it just keeps on getting smooter (vanille, coffee, tobacco, silky tannins, dark fruit and spice) and more complex. Very refined finale with impressive length. Difficult to beat the QPR of this wine. World Class.
