Saturday, September 7, 2019 - Rather accessible served with a one hour decant this went very well with some lamb chops and truffle gnocci. A less sauvage wine (i.e. hypothetical mid way between typical Gevrey and Vosne) that I had expected, nice refinement, not overworked. Lovely deep layered cherry fruit with a touch of rose pedal. A class act of a village wine for sure where nice berries went into the wine speaking for itself. Should have a long life ahead and wouldn't be surprising if this will close down a bit in the next year(s) before blossoming again. Today it was drinking superbly.
