Friday, May 1, 2020 - Quintessentially Gevrey, with a nose of sauvage, dark fruits and earth. There are some engaging florals too, with the scent of fresh rose petals. It is deep and penetrating, with rich fruit flavours. Despite the wine's size and power it is light on its feet, gliding across the palate and then fanning out on the long finish. Great drive and energy.
