Saturday, December 23, 2023 - The color is pale ruby. On the nose there are pronounced aromas of ripe black cherries, red berries like strawberries and raspberries, fire stone, little graphite and leather. The acidity is high. The tannins are medium(-) and very silky and the body is medium. On the palate the flavors are similar to the nose and also pronounced. The finish is long. I had this wine with a roasted duck. The sauce had a slight cinnamon, orange and lemon zest taste. It was a great pairing. Glass I used: Zalto Burgundy
