Thursday, December 17, 2015 - Slow ox'ed for 4hrs and consumed over the following hour. Wow this wine was impressive. Expressive bouquet of blackberries with a hint of vanilla. Great concentration on the palate with waves of dark fruit. Medium plus finish. Still has upside from further cellaring. Tertiary notes peeking out from beneath the fruit but have not come out in full bloom yet. Wonderfully smooth and built to last. In the early stage of its drinking window but will easily last another decade or more.
