Saturday, February 7, 2015 - Deep ruby approaching black in color, this tasting likely suffered by comparison to the brilliant 1986 Mouton Rothschild which preceded it. The nose was a complex mosaic of cherry, dates and plum, with a shadow of spice.
Tasting confirmed this brilliant assembly of dynamics and left me pining for the next opportunity to open another bottle. Fantastic juice!
