Tuesday, October 18, 2022 - On the nose: violets and roses, rich fruit (blue and purple), olives, and bacon fat. Luscious medium to full bodied mouthfeel with delicious, sweet (just on the right side of the edge of overly sweet) flavors that mirror the nose. 13.6% abv and moderate acidity make the wine very well balanced. Very fine ripe tannins that linger elegantly on the impressively long finish. There is just the slightest hint of bitterness at the end of the finish (perhaps from the stems?). Drink now-2036.
