Wednesday, September 23, 2009 - Purple, red hue with good clarity. Wonderful nose of cherries, hard fruit candy and a remote floral element. Very fresh and inviting. Medium body, with generous acidity offset by subtle but velvety tannins. Red berry fruits and a hint of oak influence. Expansive finish that does not overpower. A nicely balanced wine that can be quaffed if you don't think about it. It's not too complex and doesn't make you work for enjoyment. A more determined investigation reveals the lovely nuances of the wine.
