Sunday, December 31, 2023 - First experience with this producer (gift from a C-T collector friend). Was concerned that 2011 might be getting a little old but very pleasantly surprised with this wine! NOSE: Vibrant mineral nose, lemon oil, lemon peel, salinity, fresh white flowers and a touch of fresh green herbs. PALATE: vibrant, well assembled bubbles, crisp, salty & chalky on entry, medium weight mid-palate with a hint of lemon custard, generous finish given minerality. Wishing I had another bottle to try in say another 5-7 years (or longer!). 2011 vintage, disgorged 2017 dosage 5g/L. C-T is a "Selosse understudy" and it really shows.
