Monday, August 21, 2017 - Insipid, too basic, pleasnt restaurant quaff. More resemblance to Beaujolais Villages than Morgon. None of the ecstatic Morgon character or depth that the 2014 vintage has shown in all of the other Morgons and other cru Beaujolais I have had in the past year. Lots of candied cherry and some acidic earthy flavors, with a mixed berry nose.
