Sunday, December 25, 2011 - Decanted 45 minutes before tasting. Clear dark inky blood-garnet. Elegant bouquet of blackcurrant liqueur, blackberries, forest floor, anise seed, bay leaf. Similar on the palate; full-bodied, seamless, firm but polished tannins suggesting more life ahead. Improved over two hours. Much better than a previous bottle.
