Monday, December 24, 2007 - This was an excellent pairing with our Christmas Eve Prime Rib. The nose was earthy, with a good level of tannins still present. On the palate the most noticeable flavors were currant and black cherry, with earth and mineral undertones. The long, rich finish added to a firm ending.
