94 Points

Monday, March 23, 2009 - No TCA worries and decanted 45 minutes.. Slight bricking at the edges, with mature notes of cassis and plums, loads of cedar, well integrated and subtle oak complete a very attractive nose profile. An unmistakable and authoritative black cherry fruit coats the entire mouth, with complicating traits of fresh cinnamon and oak spice. Tannins are fine grained, and fully integrated, leaving to a very smooth and lasting finish. My last bottle of Napa wine, as my cabernet interests have shifted to Washington State and Bordeaux, but what great way to say goodbye.
