Tuesday, January 8, 2019 - Deep ruby. On the nose medium+ intensity with black currant, red currant, black plum and black currant leaf with vanilla, cloves, violet, cedar and nutmeg (baking spice). Medium acid, high (ripe) tannins with a soft plush mouthfeel. Medium+ finish. A lovely wine that needs 2+ hour to open up, however, shows great early appeal.
