Saturday, September 4, 2010 - Nose: Pickle brine. Maybe a bit of a pine forest note as well. A little musk, a little heat. Taste: Tastes kinda briney as well. Some saltiness/minerality on the approach, maybe also a note of violet, pickles on the midpalate. Short finish. A little chalk on the on the mouthfeel, not too tannic. either still young/tight or just not showing well.
