Saturday, March 31, 2012 - Saturday Afternoon Tasting (German Village, Columbus, Ohio): color: dark, rich, youthful cabernet color. nose: cassis liqueur, sweet oak, blueberry. palate: tannic. oaked. fruit character hidden by youthful oak and tannic character. toasted herb and scorched earth. somewhat savory. drinkable now, but needs more time. decent character and weight.
