Wednesday, July 27, 2022 - Decanted 1/2 hour….needs a few good hours or couple passes thru a Venturi….deep magenta youthful color even at nearly 10 yo…
Nose has touch barnyard, framboise, blackberry… decent nose…slightly tart upfront with loads of cherries, earth, significant tannins that leave a bit tongue smacking acidic finish….really good wine….thinking longer aeration or more bottle time will improve…has ample structure to deliver the goods….interesting wine and a helluva good QPR…
Will revisit in the future…
