Sunday, January 22, 2006 - Dinner at home of beef pot roast with porcini mushrooms. Plum/black cherry fruit, licorice, and cigar box on the midpalate. Light to medium body, with toasty oak and vanilla on the finish. Pleasant, but a bit straightforward and one-dimensional. A disappointment at this price.
