Saturday, November 4, 2006 - Color is dark garnet to the rim. On the nose cassis, eucalyptus, spice, and a hint of leather. Palate reveals chewy dark fruit (cassis and berries), mint, white pepper, and a good touch of acidity. Tannins are well-heeled, and this is a quite enjoyable bottle.
