Tuesday, April 8, 2014 - Purchased 3 from the winery in 2009. Drank one without making notes two years ago, but remember it as a full throttle California Cab with little subtlety. Opened this bottle and poured through an aerator. Dark purple with greasy legs. Plenty of fruit, earth, and leather on the nose. Surprisingly tannic given the age of the wine, but with plenty of fruit on the palate. Reasonable finish. I do not think this is on its last legs and will wait a couple of years to enjoy the last bottle.
