Thursday, December 20, 2007 - French Bakery BYO 1990's Cali Cab Sauv dominant wines; 12/19/2007-12/20/2007: Charlie's wine. Surprisingly was outclassed and outvoted by the little known 96 Rafanelli, and 97 White Rock Claret.It did receive 2 votes out of 13. Charlie was bemoaning the fact that his heralded wines often get outclassed in our blind tasting. I can commisserate, as I own this as well, and have yet to be impressed by it. I have been holding them, hoping for enhanced aging. I question if it ever will realize its early promise.
