Tuesday, December 21, 2021 - While this is a well made wine and more balanced and structured than the regular Napa bottling of this estate, I was expecting more for the price I paid. While I would describe the Napa bottling as jammy and flabby, I would describe the Stag’s Leap as a wound up ball of tension and verve. My guess is this will become a better tasting experience with a few more years in the cellar.
